Speaker:  Martin Rydlo, Escarpment Corridor Alliance
Title: Ecological Corridors: A Critical New Tool For Conservation—Globally and Locally

Martin Rydlo, CO-Founder Board Member, Escarpment Corridor Alliance:
Martin Rydlo is one of the founding board members of the Escarpment Corridor Alliance which formed in 2022. Martin's ECA focus is on supporting communications, leading the Conservation Economy initiative and advocating for the importance of nature-based wellness.

With over 25 years of marketing and business development experience in health & wellness and community economic development. His expertise in online and social media marketing grew through his work with several digital agencies and well known brands, he also founded a content/digital division at Influence Marketing and started multiple sports nutrition companies. Previously, he led marketing and economic development for the Town of Collingwood for seven years, repositioning it as a hub for entrepreneurs and developing key initiatives such as the Business Development Centre and Tech Hub North.

Currently, Martin is President of Duntroon Highlands Resort Ltd. He has competed in several sports internationally and at world championships including triathlon and Eco-Challenge adventure racing. Martin spends his free time enjoying nature with his family and friends and thus has developed an intimate knowledge of the natural assets in South Georgian Bay through biking, running, backcountry skiing, cross country skiing, kayaking, surfing, sailing, building trails and open water swimming.


Book Exchange:
The Book Exchange will be set up at the back of the room starting at 1 PM. Books should have a copyright date no older than 10 years. Bring a Book, Take a Book. We ask that you exchange no more than 3 books at a time. Please contact Nancy Hart with any questions!
