Sept. 30/26, Charlene invited us to hike the trails of her 100 acre property featuring Maidenhair fern among other variety of native plants

The property offered meadows, cedar woods and deciduous forest in a glacial kettle area

Our hike took us through a healthy deciduous forest

Our 11 hikers crossed gentle rolling hills and meadows

We found plantain leaf sedge and a large variety of fall asters
