On October 25th members got together to celebrate our 15th anniversary
Over the years we have been fortunate to have many great people take on the leadership role
Members were greeted with a beautiful fall display as they entered the hall
Over 300 members were in attendance for the celebration
Founding members and past presidents were asked to stand and be recognized.
The guest speaker was Dan Needles, a well known local author and playwright
The audience enjoyed an hour of numerous laughs as he discussed life on his farm...
..and his many interesting neighbours and family members.
Bev Johnston thanked Dan for his humorous and nostalgic reflection of life in rural ontario
Let the party begin. Everyone enjoyed a glass of prosecco....
..and our first president, Peter Jerred, asked the group to raise a glass and toast 15 great years.
Then it was time to enjoy some snacks...
..and catch up with friends.
Our current president, Joanne Vivona and vice-president, John Dick cut the cake.
..and many enjoyed a taste. A good time was had by all! Many thanks to the planning committee
