The Georgian Probus Travel Group (GPTG) is an initiative created by PROBUS members to promote group travel among the PROBUS Clubs of the Georgian Bay Region.

The purpose of the Travel group is to promote the following:

Provide unique group travel opportunities to the PROBUS Clubs of the Georgian Bay region.
To provide the best value excursions for our members
To promote camaraderie among our various club members
To access a large number of members to assure attainment of the minimum numbers for a trip.
To eliminate or reduce single supplement fees and reduce tour prices were possible.

The GPTG committee is composed of volunteer members from the various Probus clubs working together to provide exciting, quality vacation opportunities. Our goal is to provide a number of varied Discovery and Active trips to appeal to the wideset audience. We do this through frequent member travel surveys to determine your needs.

Discovery tours are for those members who like to experience travel by bus or boat.
Active tours are for those who want trips with an exercise component such as Cycling, Kayaking/Canoeing, Hiking, etc.

Travel with your peers....avoid the singles cost...get to know new people...join our trips!

Five nights and four days in fabled Haida Gwaii. Four days are spent touring the waters around Gwaii Hannas, a protected national park reserve. The tours are by 10-person Zodiac’s on which we will visit this uniquely beautiful area - often called “The Galapagos of Canada”. Travel: Le Petit Train du Nord Cycling Trip

Join us for an 8-day scenic cycling tour along Quebec’s famous Petit Train du Nord, with charming villages, restaurants, microbreweries, and beaches along the way. The tour accommodates 14–24 cyclists, with luggage transferred daily and includes accommodations in lovely inns, breakfasts, one dinner, maps, itinerary, and guide support. A shuttle transfers participants from Saint-Jérôme to Mont-Laurier, where the journey begins with a 44 km loop ride, followed by a four-day ride back to Saint-Jérôme (207 km total) at about 50 km per day, staying inn to inn.
