Dining Around Town

 Meet Day:  Wednesdays, but varies monthly
 Location:  Various area restaurants
 Time:  12:00 Lunch or 5:00 PM Dinner
 Status:  New participants welcome

Members interested in dining out at various restaurants in the area meet monthly (except July, August and December). Most months it will be held on the 3rd Wednesday but the day/date may vary depending on restaurant availability. Menus are set with a choice of soup/salad and 3-5 main entrees while others may be buffet. We normally have cocktails around 5:00 pm. followed by dinner and are planning some mid-morning Brunches and noon hour Luncheons in 2023.

Members are notified by email of the date, restaurant, menu choices and prices and are asked to confirm their participation. Both "Singles" and "Couples" are welcome—we do have a fair number of "singles" join on a regular basis.

    Please register on or before Wednesday, June 12. Cancellations after that date will be charged the $39 no-show fee. Please JOIN WAITLIST when full as we often get a cancellation or two!

    Family Style Meal—$39 / person. Participants will not need to make any meal selection, as it is served Family Style. Same as last year—and same price!

    Join us for an outdoor Pizza Party on Friday August 16!

    Please register to indicate that you are attending. You must be a member of the Dining Around Town Activity Group to attend.

    Then order your wood-fired pizza directly from Justin’s Oven website anytime from Wednesday, August 14 to Thursday, August 15.

    You must register or cancel by MondayAugust 12. If you do not cancel by the deadline there will be  $25.99 no-show fee.

    You may arrive before 5 PM and have a drink on the BACK patio. Go inside at your designated time to pickup your pizza and return to back patio (or take home if raining). Wait staff will take drink orders once you arrive.

    Suggestion: Pizza 12” is $25.99 – order an appetizer or salad and share your pizza with a spouse/friend or take home left-overs.

    The Falls Inn is a spectacular setting and the dinner is an excellent price! Cost: $45 plus tax and gratuity (same price as last year).
    Wine corkage fee: $12:00.

    Cost: $45.00 plus HST and Gratuity. No-show or late cancellation fee of $45.00 applies. Registration / Cancellation deadline is Friday, October 11.

    Appetizer Choice:

    • A) Caesar Salad - Crisp romaine hearts, house made caesar dressing, smoked bacon, herb croutons, fresh shaved parmesan cheese served w/lemon slice
    • B) Spinach & Roasted Squash - Baby spinach, roasted squash, dried cranberries,pomegranate seeds, toasted pine nut, goat cheese, w/ maple dijon vinaigrette

    Entree Choice:

    • 1) Maple Glazed Salmon - Maple glazed salmon, season squash pure, sauteed baby bok choy, black lentils, pomegranate seeds
    • 2) Yorkshire Pudding - Yorkshire pudding, slow smoked brisket, garlic spun mash, sauteed broccoli and root veg, beef gravy
    • 3) Pad Thai - Sticky pad thai sauce, napa cabbage, carrots, sweet peppers, red onion, crisp tofu, peanuts, sprouts
    • 4) Chicken Penne - Sun dried tomato pesto cream sauce, grilled chicken, sauteed mushrooms, wilted spinach, parmesan

    Cost: $29.00 plus HST and Gratuity. 2-course meal with free coffee/tea included. 
    Registration / Cancellation deadline is Friday, October 15.

    There is a large, beautiful and well stocked boutique lined with stylish home decor pieces on site so you may want to arrive early to browse!
