Description:  This is a 5km one-way shuttle hike. (Please bring a mask to wear in the car while shuttling - it is a very short distance). There are two steep ascents and descents, which we will take slow and easy. Good hiking boots and poles are recommended.

We will access the main trail via the intercept Side Trail, hiking across the top of the escarpment, overlooking the ski trails and Georgian Bay. The hike will be 1'5-2 hours, depending on how slowly we ascend the hills and how long we linger to admire the fall colours and to take photos.

Difficulty is rated as moderate+ due to steep long ascents and descents.

Poles and hiking boots and water are recommended.

Parking: We will meet on the 21 Sideroad, on side of the road west of the main Loree trailhead parking, where the Bruce Trail crosses the road.

We will then carpool to the trailhead at the corner of 4th Line and 21 Sdrd.
