Meeting Place: Sauble Falls Provincial Park - Paid Parking lot
Time: 10:00 AM sharp

Our start time is 10:00 AM— ON THE WATER! Please arrive with enough time to have your boats unloaded and be ready to paddle @ 10 AM.

Paddling Route: We will meet at the boat launch area, which is down the hill from the paid parking lot, to the left of the bridge, at the top of the falls. We will paddle up stream on the Sauble River, enjoying the scenery and hopefully some nature observations along the way. Around the 1 hour mark we will turn around and paddle back down stream to our starting point. Total paddling time should be just under 2 hrs

Weather: In the case of bad weather please check your email at 7:30 AM on the day of the outing for cancellation or postponement.

Remember to bring the following:

1. PROBUS Contact Card (it contains important emergency contact information). We will bring cards for new members to fill out. 
2. PFD, whistle, bailer, throw rope (OTS Regulations for Canoes and Kayaks). We require PFD's to be worn at all times when on the water. 
3. Hat, sunscreen 
4. Water to drink while on the paddle 

Please note: there are washroom and picnic facilities here, however the boat rentals are not available as they are shut down for the season. We will be staying to picnic following the paddle, and you are all welcome to join us.
