Note: special start time at 2 PM on Friday Sept 1
Sandy Tulloch will lead this hike.
We will see lovely views over Beaver Valley, ravines, a flowerpot and the headwaters of Indian Brook where the water breaks free from the rock, joins the stream, and tumbles over dolostone ledges on its way to Georgian Bay. We will also pass the E.C. Carr Astronomical Observatory (RASC). The loop is formed with the side trail and the main Bruce trail.
This is an easy 4 km hike, but is rated moderate due to a couple of uneven, rocky ascents/descents. Hike time is approx 1.5 hours.
Please carpool as the parking is very limited. Click on the red word ‘Registrants’ to see who is attending.
We will meet near the RASC Observatory at the corner of 6th line and the 18 Sideroad extension.
