We had to cancel this trip on Aug 2 due to weather, but are ready to try again!

Meeting Place:
We will meet at the Boat Ramp on Concession #12A, Markdale, at the south end of Bell's Lake.

Paddling Route:
We will paddle north from the boat ramp and explore the shoreline around the lake. We hope to have nature, fish and bird sightings along the way. The paddle will be casual lasting about 2 hours.

Weather: 
In the case of bad weather please check your e-mail by 7:30 AM the day of the outing for rescheduling or cancellation. . 

Start Time: 10:00 AM on the water
Our start time is 10:00 am ON THE WATER. Please arrive with enough time to have your boats unloaded and ready to paddle @ 10:00 am. 

Remember to bring the following:

1. PROBUS Contact Card (it contains important emergency contact information). We will bring cards for new members to fill out. 
2. PFD, whistle, throw rope and bailer or hand pump (OTS Regulations for Canoes and Kayaks). We require PFD's to be worn at all times when on the water. 
3. Hat, sunscreen and bug spray
4. Water to drink while on the paddle 

Note: There are no facilities, picnic area or rentals at this location.
