This week we will go a little further afield and venture to Midland where we will cycle the Tay Shore Trail from Midland to Waubashene.

I know many have cycled this in the past in the Fall and we will also do that this year, but a try in the Summer is also worth it. People familiar with this ride know that at the harbour of Midland the Queens Quay Pub and on the return cycle we will stop there for lunch prior to finishing the ride.

Meeting Place: Public parking lot on Wye Valley Road, Midland

Directions: Midland is approximately 1 hour and 25 minutes from Thornbury and once you arrive in Midland follow Highway #12 (also called Heritage Drive) towards the Martyrs Shrine. Just before the Wye River you will see Wye Valley Road and on that is a large public parking lot where we will meet. 

This ride is a little longer that what we normally do but with the lunch break I believe all can finish and still have a great time. Queens Quay Pub is at 67 Juneau Road Victoria Harbour. Please note we are not meeting there!

To alleviate a multitude of cars we can also carpool. I can have 2 extra people with bikes (my rack does not fit E-bikes (sorry), so please let me know if you are interested.
