Meeting Place: 

We will meet at the boat launch. Please  note there is a $10 parking fee (cash).

Paddling Route:
Paddle will be a 2 hr easy paddle exploring the south end of the lake. We will paddle down to the causeway and check out the Osprey nest then we will circle back along the east shore of the lake then cross back over to return to the boat launch. Hopefully we will see a bit of wildlife along the way as we explore the lake. 

Weather: 
In the case of bad weather please check your e-mail by 7:30 am the day of the outing for rescheduling or cancellation. As we will be on a lake with open water we will monitor the wind forecast and if it is to be too strong we may have to change our location to the Beaver River. 

Start Time: 10:00 AM on the water
Our start time is 10:00 am ON THE WATER. Please arrive with enough time to have your boats ready to paddle @ 10:00 am. 

Remember to bring the following:

1. PROBUS Contact Card (it contains important emergency contact information). We will bring cards for new members to fill out. 
2. PFD, whistle, bailer, throw rope (OTS Regulations for Canoes and Kayaks). We require PFD's to be worn at all times when on the water. 
3. Hat, sunscreen 
4. Water to drink while on the paddle 

Note: There is no boat rental available for this site. - There are Porta Potties and picnic tables. We will be staying for a picinic follwoing the paddle and you are welcome to join us.
