Fox Ridge Road Valley. Bruce Trail Map 26, Addition 29

Hike Details:  This is a lush valley featuring a stream and old growth sugar maples and large ironwood trees. There are some views of Georgian Bay with open meadows and apple trees.

Difficulty:  This is a moderate hike with some hills that are not onerous. We will retrace our steps which avoids walking on the road and affords different vistas.

This hike will take approx 2 hours. 

DIRECTIONS: From Thornbury travel south on County Road 13, Beaver Valley Road, to south of Heathcote. Turn left at the sign for Duncan on the Townline for Blue Mountains/Grey Highlands (Euphrasia). Travel to the 3rd intersection and turn right onto Fox Ridge Road, at the top of the hill. The road only goes right (west). After approx 1 km we will be waiting . Parking at side of the road.

Walking poles, hiking boots, water and bug spray recommended.
