Meeting point- Sauble Falls Provincial Park - Pay parking Lot
This will be the final paddle of the season.
We will meet at the boat launch just above the falls - a short walk down the hill from the parking lot towards the falls. The launch area is on the left of the rental shack.
Paddling Route: We will paddle up stream on the Sauble River for about an hour then return to our launch spot. This is an easy and enjoyable paddle (approx. 2 hrs total) on which we will enjoy nature and hopefully see several types of birds, turtles, and maybe even a muskrat.
Our start time is 10:00 AM ON THE WATER. Please arrive with enough time to have your boats unloaded and ready to paddle @ 10 AM.
Registration is limited to a total of 20 boats including leaders. We will use a waiting list if needed. Remember to bring the following: - Water to drink on the paddle - PFD, whistle, throw rope and bailer - Sunscreen, hat, bug spray - Probus contact card (it contains important contact information) Note: There are Porta Potties and a picnic area available. We will be staying for a picnic following the paddle and you are welcome to join us.
In the case of bad weather please check your e-mail by 7:30 am on the day of the outing for cancelation or postponement.
Hope you can join us!
