Hike Leader: Dennis Knight

This will be a loop hike going in on the main trail and looping back on the Escarpment side trail. The approximate distance is 4.2 kms. Most of the trail is hard packed earth, but there are some rocky sections where footing can be tricky. There are a couple of hills, but nothing strenuous. 

The Woodford area is renowned for its local history of early settlement. this will be reflected in some of the features we see, including an old homestead, a lime kiln,  a dry riverbed, and limestone fossils.
