Hike Leaders: Ilene and Louis Charland
Date: Tuesday, August 23
This is a lovely hike just south of Clarksburg. Most of the hike follows the Beaver River, with varied vegetation along the way. It is relatively flat terrain, with many lookout points to view the river along the way. It is a 4 km. hike, and will take about 1 1/2 hr. On the first half of the hike, we will take the river route, and then loop around, taking the route closer to the escarpment to return.
Remember to bring:
Sunscreen, water, hat, sturdy shoes
You may want to bring bug spray and hiking poles
