Canoeing & Kayaking - Session #6

Registration

  • Registration will open a few days before the session. An Email invitation will also be sent to Activity Group at that time.
    -Please note the GUEST option is no longer in use. Each member should register individually from the email addressed to them specifically by name.
    -Please JOIN WAITLIST if full. We can often make room if we see people are sharing boats.

Meeting point-   Wasaga Beach Sports Park- 1888 Klondike Park Road --Boat Launch

Paddling Route:

We will paddle up stream on the Nottawasaga River past Jack's Lake observing wildlife along the way. We will then turn around and return dowstream to the Boat Lauch where we started. The paddle

will be between 1.5 - 2 hours in length.

Our start time is 10 AM on the water. Please arrive with enough time to have your boats unloaded and ready to paddle @ 10 AM.

In the case of bad weather please check your e-mail by 8:30 am on the day of the outing for cancelation or postponement.


Please note : Registration is limited to 20 people (including leaders) and we will use a waiting list if needed.
  • Remember to bring the following: 
  • Water to drink during your paddle 
  • PFD, whistle, throw rope and bailer 
  • Sunscreen, hat, bug spray 
  • Probus Contact Card (it contains important contact information)
