Canoeing & Kayaking - Session #5

Registration

  • Registration will open a few days before the session. An Email invitation will also be sent to Activity Group at that time.
    -Please note the GUEST option is no longer in use. Each member should register individually from the email addressed to them specifically by name.
    -Please JOIN WAITLIST if full. We can often make room if we see people are sharing boats.

Paddling Route:

 Upstream towards Kimberly from the launch at the bridge for about 1 hour then paddle back downstream to our starting point. This is an easy paddle and we hope to see lots of nature - birds, turtles, fish beaver etc. 

In the case of bad weather please check your e-mail by 8:30 am on the day of the outing for cancelation or postponement.

Our start time is 10 AM on the water. Please arrive with enough time to have your boats unloaded and ready to paddle @ 10 AM. 

Please note : Registration is limited to 20 people (including leaders) and we will use a waiting list if needed.
  • Remember to bring the following: 
  • Water to drink during your paddle 
  • PFD, whistle, throw rope and bailer 
  • Sunscreen, hat, bug spray 
  • Probus Contact Card (it contains important contact information)
