We will meet down by the floating docks just above the falls - you will need to carry the boats and equipment down a short hill from the parking lot and turn to the left. There is Kayak rental set up in the area. We can help each other with the boat transfers down the hill.

Paddling route:
This will be a nice relaxed paddle up stream on the Sauble River where we hope to see wildlife and a very scenic part of the river. The paddling is relatively easy and you will return back downstream to our starting point. The duration of the paddle will be 1.5 - 2 hr.

Our start time is 10 am ON THE WATER - please arrive with enough time to have your boats ready to paddle @ 10 am. Note: travel time is approx. 1 hr. 10 min from Thornbury.

Please note that our registration is restricted to 20 people including leaders and we will be using a waiting list.

Remember to bring the following:
- Water to drink during your paddle
- PFD, whistle, throw rope and bailer
- Sunscreen, hat, bug spray
- Probus Contact Card (it contains important contact information)

There are outhouses and a picnic area available. Lucie and I will stay for a picnic following the paddle and you are all welcome to join us.
