  • Registration opens a few days before the Event. Members of the Activity Group will receive an email invitation at that time. PLEASE NOTE: the GUEST option is no longer in use. Members should register individually from the email invitation addressed specifically to them by name.

Hike Leader: Christine Redfern

This is a beautiful trail alongside the softly cascading Pretty River, through cedars and into mixed woods, then back in a loop.  The hike has challenging climbs, rocky footing, and shallow water crossings.                                             

The hike is approximately 5 km, and takes about 2 to 2.5 hours.  

Bring poles, bug screen, water, snack;   Meet up at Pretty River Access Trail;  Park alongside the road.  Pretty River Road / Nottawasaga Side Road 33 & 34.
