Our Annual Summer Picnic has returned!
After a three year hiatus the annual Beaver Valley PROBUS Club summer picnic is back! Please join us for an afternoon of fun, sun (hopefully), food, drinks and games with your fellow PROBUS members.
Registration extended to July 28! You will be asked during registration to select your preferred sandwich from the choices below. There is an option for gluten-free bread. If you have any other dietary restrictions or allergies please indicate on the registration form while registering. The caterer will do their best to accommodate.
- Chicken Salad Wrap
- Shaved Beef and Cheddar Baguette
- Grilled Vegetable & Hummus Wrap
- Egg Salad on Harvest Brown
Each boxed lunch will have a Greek pasta salad, a fresh fruit salad, and a brownie. A complimentary coffee, tea and water station will be setup. Alcoholic and other beverages will be available for purchase at the cash bar in the club.
We have the entire club at our disposal, so in the event of inclement weather, we can hold the event indoors. The deck will be set up with tables and chairs, but is fully exposed to the afternoon sun—so feel free to stay inside in the air conditioning if you wish.
The Club is wheelchair accessible, with handicapped parking, and an elevator.
Although we aren't able to have a Bocce tournament this year, we will have some fun activities set up on the lawn in front of the deck, for those interested. Please note: the Alpine Ski Club has advised us that guests are not permitted to hike on their property during our event.

Payment Method: Payment is online only. Member couples may register and pay together if they wish. If you need any assistance with the online payment, please call us—we can even take your credit card details over the phone!
Refund Policy: As with past years, refunds will not be given.
COVID-19 Precautions: We request that all members be fully vaccinated to attend this event and bring a mask. Other COVID-19 restrictions may apply as required by the venue and provincial health guidelines. These will be announced closer to the actual event date.
Members Only: Due to space limitations, non-member guests are not permitted at this event. The option to "Add a Spouse/Partner" during registration is only intended for use by member couples that wish to register and pay together. Please remember to bring your PROBUS Name Tag!
