Canoeing & Kayaking - Session 2 *New date

  • Registration will open a few days before the session. An Email invitation will also be sent to Activity Group at that time.
    -Please note the GUEST option is no longer in use. Each member should register individually from the email addressed to them specifically by name.
    -Please JOIN WAITLIST if full. We can often make room if we see people are sharing boats.

Paddling Route: Wasaga Beach Sports Park @ 10am

 Starting from the Boat Launch we will paddle up the Nottawasaga River past Jack's Lake and return back down stream to the Boat Launch . This is a fairly easy paddle of approximately 2 hrs. Last year we had a great paddle on which we saw quite a variety of wild life.  

If any one is interested in a short paddling clinic for Kayaks prior to our paddle - Glen will be be available to share some tips on the water by the Boat Launch 15 minutes prior to our start time of 10 am.

Please note that we will start our paddle at 10 am sharp. Please arrive with enough time to have your boats ready to paddle at 10 am.

  • Remember to bring the following: 
  • Water to drink during your paddle 
  • PFD, whistle, throw rope and bailer 
  • Sunscreen, hat, bug spray 
  • Probus Contact Card (it contains important contact information)
