MEAFORD AREA RIDE

This is the ride we were scheduled to do last week. It is hilly but not terrible and very pretty. We will begin down by the Meaford Harbour and make our way over to Sykes St. N. We will turn left onto the 7th Side Rd and follow this to the first stop sign turning right onto Grey Rd. #12. Left onto the 11th Line. There are rolling hills. Turn right onto 10th Side Rd. Right onto the 11th Line Right onto 16th Line and left onto County Rd. #112. Cross Hwy #26 turn right onto Side Rd #22 down to the water turning right onto Lakeshore Rd N. We will walk our bikes through the pathway (about 10 feet) onto Lakeshore Rd. S. Follow this back to Sykes St.and turn left. Left onto Bayfield and back to the parking lot. Total Actual Ride= 32 km. Please note the Map My Ride added mileage due to the disconnect caused by the Lakeshore Roads

Parking at the Meaford Harbour Pavilion. From Thornbury, take Hwy #26 west to the 1st set of lights as you enter Meaford. This is St. Vincent St. Turn right. Follow St. Vincent to the water. Pavilion is straight ahead. Please be ready to ride for 9:00 AM. Hope to see you there.
