This is our 3rd hike exploring trails out of our area. This beautiful 5 km. hike is in the Potawatomi Conservation Area. We will access Jones Falls by 3 different trails, the Merle Gunby Sidetrail, the Memorial Forest Sidetrail, and the Bruce Main Trail.  Please note that this trail begins as an easy trail, and gets more beautiful as it progresses, but also more difficult.  Expect loose rocks, exposed roots, one short steep rocky ascent and one short rocky descent.  Estimated time is ~ 3 h.

Poles and hiking boots, not shoes, are necessary for safe footing.  You’ll want to have your camera along!  Bring a snack!
