The terrain on this hike is good for the most part, with one hill to climb. There is also a long descent on an old gravel logging road. This hike commences with an easy walk into the marsh area, followed by a walk on a boardwalk through the marsh. We then cross a mostly level grassy terrain before we commence our climb up the escarpment face. Once at the summit, we head east along the top of the escarpment until we reach the old logging trail and then we shall head back down over the escarpment and back to the parking lot. It is an interesting hike with good possibilities of some interesting sights.
