Recreational Cycling Routes:
- Begin at Sobeys Parking Lot. Cycle along trail to Sunset Point then continue along the Hwy 26 on sidewalk to the lights. Cross over and cycle along past the Toyota Dealership, The Brick and turn left then turn right to access cottage roads. Find the path to Blue Shores and cycle around this community. Continue onto trail that runs alongside Beechwood Road as far as you can go then turn back. Coffee at Ashanti.
- Begin at Blue Mountain Inn, Make your way to the Toronto Ski Club (TSC) and ride through the new housing development on former Craigleith property. Take the trail to Craigleith Ski Club then continue on to Sleepy Hollow and then cycle through the residential areas around there. Take Arrowhead Road back to trail and cycle back up Mountain Road back to the Inn. May stop for coffee at Shale Rock Café.
- Begin at Craigleith Depot. Take the trail to Squire John’s. Cross Hwy 26 and cycle around Brophy’s Lane then back over to Forrest Street. Cycle around this residential area and then cycle back to Timmons. Cycle up Timmons and find the trail that links back to the Georgian trail. Coffee at Shale Rock Café.
- Begin at Craigleith Depot. Take Trail up to County Road 21 past the Scandinave. Find the trail which winds back through subdivisions. Take County Rd 19 through Snowbridge and continue on back towards the TSC and follow Cnty Td 19 back down to trail.
- Start at Canadian Tire and take Mountain Road to 10th line. Follow the trails system from there winding back to Cranberry Mews. Cross over Highway 26 and cycle to the point. Cycle around Mariner’s Haven then back to Canadian Tire. Coffee at Ashanti.
- Wasaga Beach: Begin at Walmart South Side Promenade Mews, across from Harvey’s and Tim Horton’s, north of Beach Area One. Take Stone Ridge Blvd to River Road East up to T-intersection. Turn left back onto Eastdale Drive, back to River Road East to Mary Street. Take Coastline Drive back to Walmart. Can continue to Main Street over Bridge right onto Jenetta Street if you wish to go longer.
