Welcome to our first snowshoe event of 2025. 

With the recent snowfalls, we are able to get the snowshoe activity group started. Our first outing will be fairly  easy, and should take about 1 hour.  We will meet in Clarksburg, at the parking lot for Lions Park. (It is just off the main street.) We then follow the Beaver River Trail going north towards Thornbury.  It is a very pretty trail along the river.  When we reach the dead end, we will return on the same trail.  The trail is fairly easy, with 2 uphill sections. Hiking poles are recommended.  You also may wish to bring a water bottle.
