Most birds will be paired up by now and many are on their nests.  However, birds are still singing and calling to their mates, which can be a great way to find them.  Once again, we will rely on Merlin to 'guide' us in identifying the singing bird and then, try to find who is making that sound to confirm our sighting. To best experience summer birding, each individual should have the Cornell Lab Merlin app on our phones.  

We will meet at 8:30 AM on Wednesday, June 5th.  Turn north from HWY 26 onto Christie Beach RD and drive 300M to where the Georgian Trail crosses the road; there is a small parking area on the right but you may need to park safely on the side of the road.
