Our Stratford theatre outing is back!

After a two-year hiatus due to Covid, we are pleased to announce we have secured tickets for William Shakespeare's Richard III, in the brand new Tom Patterson Theatre. We are limited to 24 members on a “first-come, first-served” basis — so please register soon! (Sorry, non-member spouses or guests are not permitted due to limited seating). Because we need to purchase tickets well in advance, online payment by credit card will be required at the time of registration to confirm your spot.

General Information:

Date: Wednesday, June 8
Cost: $127 per person (taxes & gratuities included)
Check-in: 8:30 AM @ Beaver Valley Community Centre

Price: includes bus transportation from Thornbury to Stratford and return, lunch at Anna Mae’s Restaurant and Bakery in Millbank, and a ticket to the 2 PM performance. Lunch is a choice of roast beef or “broasted” chicken, with fresh pie for dessert, and tea or coffee. You will be asked to make your menu choice during registration.

Refund Policy: As with past years, refunds will not be given. If you need to cancel before the event—and if there is a waiting list — we will put you in contact with waitlisted members to help you resell your ticket. But there is no guarantee that tickets can be resold. 

COVID-19 Precautions: We request that all members be fully vaccinated to attend this trip and bring a mask. Other COVID-19 restrictions may apply as required by the theatre and provincial health guidelines. These will be announced closer to the actual event date.

Members Only: Due to space limitations, non-member guests are not permitted at this event. The option to "Add a Spouse/Partner" during registration is only intended for use by member couples that wish to register and pay together. Please remember to bring your PROBUS Name Tag!
