*2024 Update: The Pole Walking activity group will start up again in mid-April, weather permitting. An email will be sent to the members of the group with the details on where to meet. 

The Nordic Pole Walking group meets every Tuesday @ 9:30 am for an hour long walk from mid April to October, weather permitting. The poles (Poles4life) can be purchased at the Thornbury Pharmasave and if you show your PROBUS Club badge you will receive a 20% discount.

    Our BVPC Activity Fair is in-person this year at the  Beaver Valley Community Center on Tuesday, March 26, 2024.


    The new season sign-up starts on March 26! Just click the Register button and you will be added to the Activity email list. You will then get notified when and how you will meet!

    Remember you must sign-up again for this season, even if you registered last year, or this year before March 5.

    Couples Membership: If you and your spouse/partner share an email address,  please contact help@beavervalleyprobus.com for assistance. Each member has their own account now and we ask that everyone register separately.

    Tues. May 21 we will walk the Meaford cemetery and Georgian Trail.

    For our 9:30 start we will meet at the end of Swarthmore Dr.Meaford

    Directions From Meaford going towards Thornbury on HYW 26 pass The Independent Grocer on your Lt then pass Knights Hardware on your Rt. then turn Lt on Swarthmore Dr. and follow it around to the end at the parking circle. 

    From Thornbury going towards Meaford on HWY 26 pass Grey Heron Garden Nursery on your Rt, pass Grandma Lamb’s on your Lt then turn Rt onto Swarthmore Dr. and follow it around to the end at the parking circle.
