Golf Tournament 2026 (June 16, 2026)

We are excited to announce this year's annual golf tournament! The price is the same as last year—it includes 18 holes of golf with cart, coffee and muffin to start, followed by a BBQ lunch and prizes after the golf.

The format is "Team scramble - 18 holes".

As with past tournaments, the teams will be assigned by the organizers to balance the teams and encourage meeting new members. We will consider preferred pairs by request only. You are welcome to register a non-member guest for this event!

Lunch options are: chicken on a bun, hamburger or a veggie burger or an egg salad sandwich and a choice of two side dishes: country potato salad, pasta salad, garden salad or Caesar salad.

Check-in: 8:00-8:40 AM
Get cart, team assignments, starting hole #, muffins and coffee

Welcome and review of rules: 8:40-8:50 AM
All players in carts at 8:40 AM for the welcome

Golf—Shotgun Start: 9:00 AM-2:00 PM

BBQ lunch: 2:00-3:00 PM

Prizes and Wrap up: 3:00-4:00 PM

Registration: Sign-up and payment is online. Member couples can register and pay together using the Add Guest button.

Refund Policy: As with past years, refunds will not be given after payment has been made.

Inclement Weather Policy: Cancellation of the tournament will be considered only if the Shelburne Golf and Country Club officially closes the course to all play. This will be determined using R&A standards for play whereby dangerous weather prevents safe play on the course. Beyond this we will play—rain or shine. If the tournament is cancelled, we will reschedule based on availability of requested rain date.

We’ve never been disappointed in a King’s Wharf Theatre production, so join us for another fun musical production from Drayton Entertainment. This feel-good revue encompasses the musical evolution of Nashville becoming the uncontested home of country music. Nashville Music City shines a neon light on the artists and songs that gave the city its name; the hits of Dolly Parton, Johnny Cash, Shania Twain and Taylor Swift plus many others are featured in this toe tapping production.

With only 63 spots available for our Club tickets will go fast!
To avoid disappointment please confirm and pay early. Because tickets must be purchased well in advance, online payment by credit card will be required at the time of registration to confirm your spot. Please add your name to the waitlist if the event sells out, as we may be able to obtain more tickets.

Date: Thursday, July 16 @ 2:00 PM
Cost: $53.81per person (including HST)

Transportation: Members are responsible for their own transportation. Please leave yourself enough time to arrive 30 minutes before the performance. Travel time is approximately 1.5 hours from Thornbury.

Refund Policy: As with past years, refunds will not be given. If you need to cancel before the event—and if there is a waiting list—we will put you in contact with waitlisted members to help you resell your ticket. But there is no guarantee that tickets can be resold.

Dinner Reservation: A group reservation for an early post theatre dinner will be arranged closer to the date. Please indicate your intention to join the dinner during registration. You can still change your mind later! Members will be responsible for their own meal cost.

Members Only: Due to limited seating, non-member spouses and guests are not permitted at this event. The option to "Add a Spouse/Partner" during registration is only intended for use by member couples that wish to register and pay together. Please remember to bring your PROBUS Name Tag!
