Social Convenor
- Prepare a social schedule for the year.
- Use Budget spreadsheet template to outline costs and proposed ticket sale price
- Obtain approval for Social Events from Management Committee and ensure treasurer has signed off on budget sheet.
- Prepare Event Announcement with help from Communications Team if needed.
- Create Events in the web system, and schedule Event Emails.
- Manage Event Registration and WaitLists.
- Arrange bus transportation to out-of-town functions.
- Arrange the Annual General Meeting Lunch held in February.
- Arrange the New Members Lunch held in March.
- Organize the annual Summer Picnic in July, and coordinate with the Bocce committee.
- Organize the Christmas Party, held in December.
- Follow up on any events/outings etc that members may suggest.
- Attend monthly Management Committee Meetings and present information regarding the Social activities.
